“ The way that we live is the way that we die.”
We carry so much fear around death and dying, that we often stick our heads in the sand, avoiding the conversation altogether.
It’s time to break through the belief that talking about death, will somehow bring it upon us.
This workshop is dedicated to addressing these fears and opening up the crucial dialogue about death and dying.
We often live with the intention of making our wishes known tomorrow, but not today.
This workshop emphasises the importance of making our end-of-life wishes known, particularly around who will take care of us, if and when, we can no longer take care of ourselves.
The truth is we never know when death will come knocking at our door. Death may come suddenly or it may come gradually. For some, the end comes gently, while for others, it is very, very hard. But one thing is certain: there is no “if” in dying, only “when”.
Through guided discussion and reflective exercises including completing an End Of Life Death Care Plan, this workshop aims to help participants confront their fears and understand the importance of planning and ultimately embracing the inevitable, with a sense of clarity and readiness.
Join us to explore how the way we live, impacts the way we die, and learn how to make your end of life’s wishes known with intention, sensitivity and meaning.
